Today is Nov. 20, 2007 and is the first day Open Roads Radio is officially online. You wondered why all the forums were empty, right?

We are about 97% ready to go and there's just a few things left to do, like setting the clocks and some other stuff.

Before starting Open Roads Radio, we looked around (Google!) for similar forums that served an on-ine community that likes their Amateur Radio and their RVing/camping served up on the same plate. There were some RV radio net web sites, but we didn't find a forum. So we created Open Roads Radio.

We'd like to welcome you all to the forum, make yourself at home. We hope as we grow to become one of the most useful repositories of information and one of the friendliest sites on the internet.

Well, today is Dec. 1, 2007 and we now have 95 members. For a while there we were getting a new member every hour or so!

All the bugs, and there weren't but a few, are worked out and members are "moving in" and getting to the business of having fun and promoting the radio art while on wheels.

We have added the default blue color scheme for those who find it easier to read.

More stuff is on the way!

We plan to add a photo gallery and a "repository of helpful files" - but be patient, this is a hobby, a labor of love for your admin team - and these might not be here for a few weeks.
