Just registered . . . looks like a great forum. I'm a long time ham (first licensed in 1973), although I've not been active for quite a few years. Planning on getting back into it as I'm slipping into retirement and am getting around to more and more of those "someday" things on the bucket list. Bought a TT a few months ago and the plan is to get on the air sooner rather than later. Looking forward to scanning the forum for hints and tips.

Looks like a friendly group (never found a bunch of hams that wasn't).

I was also licensed in 1973 or 1974. I'm not sure and I don't have my first license. I have been active ever since I was licensed and am working toward retirement in 2017.
