Just realized that AES has gone out of business after 59 years. I'll miss them here in Orlando.

Well, AES has been around a long time, always with the highest prices anywhere. Still I am surprised at this news and would rather have them still around.

I understand that HRO bought a couple of their locations. I don't remember which ones.

I understand that HRO bought a couple of their locations. I don't remember which ones.

An article I read yesterday (http://archive.jsonline.com/business/amateur-electronic-supply-signs-off-b99763835z1-387505821.html) said HRO bought the Milwaukee store. It didn't mention any others.

There were only three others anyway: Cleveland OH, Las Vegas NV, and Orlando FL. In the past there was one in Clearwater FL, but AES closed it some years after I bought a couple ICOM radios (761 and R7000) there in 1987.
