Someone want to enlighten the rest of us what SKP stands for? I saw Escapees RV Club mentioned but have no clue what that is, or what the club does.

Escapees is an organization formed back in the 70's to promote RV'ing with emphasis on providing services and support for RVers. Many of us SKP's are full time RV'ers. SKP provides the finest mail forwarding service, a legitimate domicile address, member support, and among other things, a wonderful care center at the Livingston Texas headquarters. The care center is available for members who need medical assistance such as you would find at a assisted living facility, but in this case it is designed for RV'ers. is Coachnet a decent roadside assitance plan, or are there better ones out there?

Coachnet is a very good road service, I have had Coachnet and Good Sam in the past. Coachnet actually supplies the service for most of the others, they just put their brand on the offering. I would not RV without their service, Have had to use it on several occasions (bad news Goodyear G157's), and have had friends use them for more serious problems with great results. // John K3NOQ/0 in South Park, Co.

Escapees has a good web site and also a forum with a section for amateurs. I'm not a member but read up on them awhile back and joined the forum. Have not been back in awhile. They offer some good services, esprcially for full timers. If I were a full timer I'd certainly be a member. Their forum doubles as Escapee and another name but I do not recall the name. Appears to be a good group.

One of the hurricanes took their offices out in Texas awhile back, but they were back up and running in no time. My hat is off to them they offer some valued services to full timers.

You might look into Motorsport Advantage. $10.00 nominally over Coach Net, but in my case it will also cover a trailer if I so choose to tow one behind my Class A. Coach Net does not cover the trailer.
