I currently feed a 108" whip located at the top of my MH over the driver's door.
I am buying a 31' fiberglass telescoping pole that I will in turn attach to my ladder on the rear of the coach.
It appears in scale drawings that I can get about 40-50' of wire in the air with the peak at around 40' and the base around 11' or more.
I know it will favor the slope for directive although I am not sure just how much at this point.
Just something I thought I would try.
Anyone ever tried something like this yet?

Take an ordinary magnetic compass from the sporting goods store and slope the thing towards where ever. Use the directional pattern as an asset. You might be thinking about that when you are picking out your site.

To work all of Europe I favor true North/South with a bazooka dipole. (The antenna would run east/west) I also get a lot of South America that way.

We are going to do campground hosting hopefully about 1/3 to 1/2 of the year and many times those sites are dictated by the assignment of course so we may not have a choice.
