Saw the 5ver sitting out back and wondered where everyone else keeps their rig?

Our MH stays parked at the rear of our Son's drive way on the N.E. side of Macon, safest place for it and it gets great mileage there !

Our 5th wheel stays at my sons house about 1/4 mile away, sitting infront of his Everest 5th wheel. He has a large, concrete slab next to his house. I dont have to pay the outrageous storage fees they ask here, plus I know it is safer there that in a storage lot.

During the summer months we park in the BUS BARN. Do not live there.
This picture was taken right after I put the drive in. I will take pictures of my flower gardens and post them.

When mine's not on the road, it has a rv shed that it stays in, but that's only about 3 months out of the year. The rest of the time it's in a rv park somewhere.

In the driveway right now. Might move it to the side yard now that I have the privacy fence up.

Ours, when not at a horse show, camping, or in storage for the winter sits on the south side of the house. About 100 feet from the garage. I would love to put up a shed for it and the wife's horse trailer. So they could winter over in a better place.
It hasn't been many places lately, our daughter is expecting any day now. Then we will be camping in their yard for a few days.

terra and I have lived full time in our RV since November 2010. We stay at the Amarillo Ranch RV park off of I-40 in Amarillo TX, right next to Splash water park and down the street from the world famous Big Texan steak house. It is an older park, but well maintained. The perimeter of the park is long-term and the center is for overnight guests. We have a pool, sauna and hot tub. Water and internet are free but we pay electric and propane of course. The WiFi was terrible but we recommended a ham friend, KD5DYP, to rebuild the system so you know it was done right. The best part about the park is that there is lots of trees and grass, and 20' - 40' between rigs in the long term spaces. We found a spot under a large elm tree to block the sun from our west facing windshield. The back of the park is reserved for mobile homes with a few 5ers and my class A mixed in. I replanted my front lawn 2 weeks ago and you can see it is sprouting nicely! We love it here.

Nice spot Chris. Like the swing under the tree. I can see a lot of evening right there!

Thanks! We found the only tree in the Texas panhandle and we claimed it as our own!

Too bad we missed you. We were less than 2 miles apart. Next time holler on simplex or the local repeaters and we'll join you for a cup of coffee, or we can show you the best steaks or burgers in town!

we had an area next to the driveway graded a bit and a load of crusher run put in. its not level, but its better than before the c-r. i made two leveling ramps for the left side, so the rv is now level side-to-side, but still off 5.3 degrees front-to-back. thats next...

Re the "in the shop" answer.. I know one RVer who would have to answer that way.. you see, when I knew him he was building his RV.. he works for Damon and thus simply parked it "in the shop" and worked on it a bit every day after he clocked out. (or slept in it if the weather was nasty and he did not feel like driving home)
