I am thankful, that 6-1/2 years ago, somebody we barely knew (from our church) offered to give me a kidney. All of my close friends and relatives got ruled out for one reason or another. I have a very healthy kidney now keeping me alive. So, among many other things, I am thankful for, that is the biggie.
We had 14 people in our little house, but had loads of fun. I have just spread the dishes out over a few days. I still have the roasting pan and a crock pot to go
