Default CQ WW SSB contest

Over the years I have a participated in a contest or two, just part of what I like to do.

Today I was able to jump into CQ WW ssb contest. Even being in the low part of the solar cycle, there were lots of signals. It seemed mostly Caribbean, South America and Pacific stations. Didn't hear a single European station.

I had an enjoyable afternoon while the wife did some on-line Christmas shopping.

All done with 80 watts out to a 100 ft wire strung atop pine trees.

I wish I had the time. I don't even have time to keep up with what I don't have time for.
