Default Cheap fun

Slingshot+150 lb test monofilament line+ 4 pine trees in a row+ 100 ft 14 ga wire= afternoon of fun

Mounted rig in a wood box, sat in truck, ran rig off of truck battery, long wire tuned nicely on almost all bands with MFJ tuner

Best part, in parking lot at apartment complex, so did not have to go anywhere.

Ps- even getting 100 ft away from apartment complex drastically reduced rfi noise level.

Would add pics but this doesn't seem to like iPad pictures.

Default Surprise

Well didn't think pic loaded on previous post.

Anyway, u see the tuner, xcvr and power supply ( not used, on battery).

In back are the dummy load and tvi filter.

Limited power to 60 watts, make several good contacts.
