Default Hello - Another Texan

Just found this group - kind of a referral from iRV2. Been licensed for about 13 months, Extra for about four months. Have a great Elmer and learning alot. Retiring soon and getting things setup for travel in our 2009 Winnebago Destination 37G. While mobile, going to use an Icom IC-706MKIIG for mainly HF through an Alpine Screwdriver antenna attached to the ladder. For 2m/70cm Using a QYT KT8900D with a Larsen 270 on the roof. Trial run of the HF was pretty noisy in the bedroom "shack," so I think I will power from the "house" batteries.

Hope to hear some of you on the air -

Welcome aboard.

We are part of the same forum group as IRV2. Pretty laid back group here. Enjoy!
