Actually the jury is still out. I haven't tried it much here in the RV park where there's fairly constant S9 noise; when I get on the road I'll try it from quieter places and see. It's possible that I will have to mount it higher after all, but if so I will never admit it.

It loads up beautifully on all bands from 160 meters to 6 meters.

I love the dipole, I will probably do something similar for 20 and above.
