Hi Randy - I've been outside most of the time. I've not had a lot of time to listen. Freq (7230) is clear right now.

Would love to send you some of this 43 degree wx. Looking at the national radar wx composit, looks as if your worst is yet to come. Maybe some light snow in store for you and Andy.

This is a wx link run by a fellow ham and good friend (KQ4YD). He has one computer and several components dedicated to this site.

Will be in and out today and checking ORR from time-to-time. If someone wants to leave a freq for a possible contact, post one please and I'll set the receiver there and give a call occassionally.

This Friday I am off and will be in and out. List a couple of frequencies and time and I'll try to make contact. I'll also check back here during the day and see if ther are any paths opening. Come on sun spots.

Ken,

I've not set up the ham gear here. We've been busy with other projects. I just got satellite TV going... I think we will probably be pulling out tomorrow (Friday). Maybe someone will get on to attempt a contact with you. If something changes I'll make a post.

Thanks,

Jim

Well, we're still here at Florida Springs in Bonifay, FL. We stuck around another day or two. Finished our projects up for my DW's mother.

I got the ham gear set up. The only band I've been on is 75 meters a couple of times to check into nets. I got in, but my signal reports were not too good on 75 meters. Probably would do better on higher bands.

I'm glad there are no snow banks blocking my way out. Temps have warmed to the low 70's. Sorry, I just had to say that Andy !!!

Probably headed out of here in the morning for home QTH. Barring any further projects. Then we will get serious about working some of you.

Good morning Gentlemen,

I'm listening to the "Breakfast Club" on 3973 right now. Thought I may hear "YXM" on there. That's a large group.

I'll be on 3950 at 0800 CT for a Florida Net and then I'll be listening up on 7230 for most of the day. Should be around the house all day and in and out of the shack.

If any of you want to take a break give a call.

73,
Jim
