Default Voice of Jupiter

Radio operators (ham and professional) used to hear these sounds and wonder what it was.

Turns out it's the solar wind blowing over the magnetic poles of Jupiter. (Reduced to simple layperson terms.... )

This popped up while researching this.

Further investigation yielded this:

That is amazing.. Who'd a thunk it... Lovely music too at least at the start, still playing as I type.

When I lived in Detroit, I would record Christmas and Easter masses at church and edit them down so they fit on a single CD. Then I'd "publish" around 20 copies for the choir members.. Of course I had to label tehm... The labels needed background art... Most of the backgrounds came from APOD shots (If you do not know what those are you are missing some of the most beautiful art in the galaxy.. Google Astronomy Picture of the Day).

I always said that the background art was painted by the greatest artist in all creation. GOD.. Appears he is a musician too (But then I knew that, Just never listened to his work before).

It sounds like a large cello section and a mens choir.

But wow...
