Why so early? 1900 EST is 1800 CST...I am usually not home until after that time. Some us are still working.

Mondays I try to get on the local club 10M net (28.444 at 1600 CST0 and the local 80 M Walter's Turkey Net at3.806 +/-. Both are more of a rag chew than a net.

Don't think I can make the Echolink net easily.

Ken I'm putting your call in my favorites and the alarms. I will hear you hopefully when you log on Echolink.

Had to get Echolink set up on this laptop and it shows you are on and not in a QSO Jim. Never could get a connect.

Ken

I left the room and failed to set myself to "busy" Ken, sorry. I came in and was about to click the button to connect to yuo when you logged off. I was within a second of connecting.

We had a good conference with about 4 of us on earlier in the evening. Real good connects. ONLY one ham was using a radio, Hi hi....

Default Can't get into ORR Calendar?

Wanted to update the Calendar for the new EchoLink schedule, but keep getting an error:
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /forums/calendar.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

If anyone can get into the calendar and update what is there, the net will be Mondays And Fridays at 2000 EST and Saturdays at 2100.
Thanks and 73
Andy - n1ork

Chris...

You're elected! Gin up the interest and give it a try.

Default Railroaded! lol

Funny...I was elected Parade Committee Chairman at our ARC the exact same way! I will try to generate interest somehow. Maybe if we tried just once each week? Seems like 8:00 (2000) EST on Mondays was the best compromise. Maybe an HF net would do better. Of course I don't have HF and someone else would have to be elected, lol.

I've never been on echo link. All my ARES buddies are into it so I guess I'll have to figure it out. To be the most inclusive, and not bar participation due to license class, I guess echo link would be the way to go, since we all seem to have a computer on the net...
