Default RV and Ham Radio, A good combination!

Hi all,
We're long time RV'ers (this one is our 8th) and a fairly new HAM (2 1/2 years). We've belonged to several RV forums but it nice to find one that talks RV and Radio. We live just south of Bend, Oregon and enjoy golfing, kayaking, camping, socializing and walking our dog Sophie. Soon I'll be the owner of a Crank IR portable 1/4 wave vertical antenna that I'm buying specifically for camping and Field Days. We hope to see you down the road.
