Thanks, Bill.

My "risk indicators" are I'm over 60 and once (Pre-Lasik) had nearsighted corrections of greater than 6.0. Mine were 8.25 and 8.75. No cataracts.

I follow up on 1/19 and hopefully things will be OK. I just wish the blasted floaters would go away.

Very good Radio. Just watch those floaters (figuratively speaking) and if they persist you know who to tell! They usually dissolve after a while...but lots of them or persistent ones are cause for a "look see" by the old ophthalmologist! Best luck...I'm still knocking on wood...and doing a lot of praying. 73, Bill

I never did follow up on this.

Everything checked out fine and the Doc was proud of his handiwork. Next appointment in July. The chunky floaters, especially the one that looks like a doughnut, is beginning to fade. Now if you imagine sitting around the campfire and watching the atmosphere above the flames doing that wavy thing... I get a lot of that... with no campfire.

It get's a bit annoying.

And it makes me want to go camping.

Hello again Chief.
Glad to hear you're doing okay. So go camping!!! It'll cure what ails ya...maybe let you discover some more faults too...LOL
Yes, Oh the stories we could tell about light shows and weird things you can look right through that come and go. Only those who are so "blessed" could possibly understand, right?
Good luck...maybe we'll run into each other (figuratively speaking) someday. Who knows. I have a 3 to 4 month trip planned to start June 12th this year...up to New England then out west to visit daughters...then...who knows...no schedule, no itinerary after NE.
