Default Couple builds a "tiny house"

Tiny house? It's cute, cheap and small. But wouldn't they have been better off just to buy an RV? We've been doing small fora long time...

Perhaps they'd have done as well with an RV. But I'll bet every single thing in their little house is made of better-quality materials, and more careful workmanship, than the cardboard and cheap particle board that Damon used to build my MH. Besides, what a blast to have built it oneself!

They learned a lot about carpentry, wiring, plumbing and all that.

It has a composting toilet. Don't know if I'd like that rather than a black tank.

"Composting toilet." I think I know what that is. We had one in back of the house once, when I was a teenage kid. It had as half-moon cut in the door, and corncobs, and a Sears catalog. Thus it was, in my latter teens, that I learned the true meaning of the expression "rough as a cob."

I came near to knocking it over with a tractor once. Yuck.
