Default Thanksgiving Day Thanks

I thought it appropriate to post today, as my family are warm and safe, have more than enough food, and are in good health, and are free to live pretty much as we please.

And, thanks to all the service personnel, public safety, etc. folks who have to work today keeping us safe.

I hope everyone has an enjoyable day.

I am most thankful for the fact I have nothing to whine about.

Nothing.

Life is good.

In the immortal words of William S. Gilbert:

Oh, don't the days seem lank and long
When all goes right and nothing goes wrong,
And isn't your life extremely flat
With nothing whatever to grumble at!

Here in the south, at least at our house, we have come up with a Thanksgiving weekend tradition:

While straightening up and getting ready for Christmas, open all the windows and let in some fresh air.

Had mid-70's for highs most of this week.

Kind of nice!
