Default Old Guy, but New to Site

Hi glad to be here. My wife and I purchased a 2005 Winnebago and hope to get on the road soon. Will be using an Kenwood TS-570SG in the MH and a TM-V7-A in my Jeep Wrangler dinghy. Hoping to get the best info on installing an HF antenna for now.

Rick, nice to have you sign up. I looked you up on QRZ and noticed that you do not have their map reflect your present location? I change my map location often, as I move about, if I remember, that is.

Sounds like you've picked up a nice ride. Take your time and do the install correctly the first time, it's better that way .
There are many good posts and images for you to reference, if you need more ask away and or check out K0BG's website.

Hitting the road again on Monday for somewhere.

Hi Rick, Congrats on the new ride. Now just get out and have some fun. There a bunch of really helpful guys on this site so if you need a hand, just ask away or check out previous posts for some good info.
My 2 meter antenna is a thru glass Larsen. (I made a single pane out of a double pane window) On the road, I'm on 146.52 on an icom V8000. My HF antenna is a Tarheel screwdriver. Both work well for me.
Welcome aboard.
