Default Where has Radio been?

Well, Radio has been a bit busy.

Let's see here... there's taking care of my Mom, who is 95. I don't have to introduce myself, I don't have to feed her or change her diaper. She lives in her own house and hobbles about on a cane. But she is nearly blind and a bit hard of hearing. And she likes to spend her Saturdays at her doll store in McDonough, GA. And needs frequent trips to the eye doctor to save what vision she has left.

So that's a lot of running about and pretty much wipes out the weekend.

Then there's the home renewal project. That's coming along nicely and I get something done almost every day. And that sops up a lot of time, too. But a lot of things need to be done, still, to get the castle ready for retirement.

In June, we are planning a trip with the camper. I'll need some time to get the rig cleaned up and ready to go. But that will be a good trip. Gone for at least a week. Should make for some interesting posts.

I have just enough time for ORR.net to chase off the occasional spammer but that's about it. I saw this coming awhile back, which is why I asked Social Knowledge to take over management of ORR.net. I'm just in a busy place right now.

I think this fall things will improve. Part of the home improvement is getting some trees and scrubby bushes cleaned up, one of which interferes with my quad antenna and tower. After that gets cleaned up some antenna repair work and putting the shack back in working (and updated) order. A few more interesting posts along in here.

But I'm still here, and it is my intention to keep ORR.net viable. Soon as I can get a little time.

Oh yeah, I get a root canal next week.

Radio: Sounds like you need at least TWO weeks in the RV. Take Mom if necessary...she'd probably like it if she can stand the bumps, etc. Slow down guy...life's too short!

Yeah the tooth turned out swell. Yesterday we did the root canal. Today we pulled it.

Once they got in there it turns out the root was cracked. And there is nothing to be done for a cracked tooth.

Hope to camp in June. Should be healed up in time for that.
