Just wanted to check into the net and say "Hello".
My wife and I are schedule to (finally) retired and hit the road fulltime around August of '09.
I retired from the U.S. Army in 1991 and have been involved in law enforcement since then. Am a Deputy Sheriff in the smallest county in MO (Worth County in N.W. Missouri.
I have been a ham operator since 1988. Operate an Elecraft K2 in QRP mode.

Looking forward to meeting everybody on this board and, as we have not decided on which Class A we are going to live in as well as what type of radio setup I am going to setup, I will have a LOT of questions for the members.
