Welcome to the group Galen and tell Abbi welcome too. There's a great group of folks here and they are very knowledgeable. I have been a ham since 1985, but really do more 2 meter than anything else. My grandfather and father both had interest in ham radio but never got their tickets. I was the first in the family. Anyway ask all the questions you want.
