Default KD8W first time here

Found this link from another forum. Thanks for putting it all together,
I'm now retired steel-worker, been a ham for awhile, bought a used RV,
remodeled it, have several radios on board and you can see my location from
the aprs website as "kd8w-1", using the 'tinytrak' and a dedicated 2m radio
for that purpose. Hope to contribute as needed or capable.

Hi Dave glad to have you on board. I built a TinyTrak II, made my own PC board for it and burned a Pic chip it think it was a 16F84 then. I see now they are using the 16F628 chip in the newer one. It worked very well and I used it up in tell I bought a Kenwood TM-700. I still have it some where in one of my many junk boxes.

It is nice to be able to give friends and family the link to findu.com so they can see where you are at any given time. Anyway post often, we look forward to hearing from you.
