Yes, I know. It hurt to move from WA where they had not state income tax to AZ.
But when the wife had a chance to get a promo she took it. I think her pay raise was eaten up by the state taxes when we got here.

My buyer informs me he would like to have the home before the 1st of October and that works for us. We have almost moved everything but the toilet paper into it anyway. Anything else and we will have to be going back and forth to get things!
My tags are up in AZ the end of Oct so we could make a run over to TX and change things around.
It will be a good place for us to base our travels and maybe winter too.
Counting the days now~~

Now YOU get to count days!! Such fun!!

In my office I have a calendar that I marked off the days until we went to get the 5th wheel. After about 45 days I noted that each "X" I had marked on it was just a tiny bit larger that the previous "X". Not by design, but by happenstance. It just came out that way.

So make sure your calendar has really big boxes on it. You're gonna need it!

Yes I will.
I did when I finished my 6 years in the Army and counted down to my retirement from DoD as US Civil Service.
I just can't do it yet as we have not established a closing date yet.
I did tell him I wanted it closed by 1 Oct or sooner and he was OK with that.
I can be out of the home he is buying in less than 72 hours and have it cleaned for him.

Are you sure you got registered in AZ and not in CA. When we bought our used RV new to us we got hit with fees almost the same here in Mexifornia.

I am jealous that you and your xyl are going to beat me and "She Who Must be Obeyed" in to going full time.

Oh an congrats on the new grand rug rat in advance.

Yes I was a little shocked when a 2003 came in that high for fees used last year.
I know CA is more, born and raised there, bailed in '93 and never looked back.

NLT closing date is established as 26 Sep 08.
He's put half down so qualifying is not going to be an issue.
The buyer may even close earlier and that's fine with us.
42 days and counting!

No not yet.
My wife panicked last night when I told her 42 days and she said "but I have so much to get into the RV yet and so little time to do it.
Sure, I would bet with what we have left in here (and need to stay in the home if you know what I mean) that we could load it all in 2 hours tops.
Are aren't even taking the dishes or silverware and we bought that new and they are already in the RV.

We just traded 5th wheels again Ken. Took us both a day and a half to move it all over and they were parked door-to-door. You know a woman can pack a lot of goodies in a small space.
