I remember pulling one off accidentally, didn't turn it back in at the gate cause it was still attached to the door when I got home.

They used to be very popular with teenagers back about the time I was one.

The last one around here only closed maybe 2 or 3 years ago of course they had gone to in car radio sound by then.

Things used to be more accommodating back then they would run a kid's movie first then one more for the adults second.

I also remember it was harder for the kids to stay awake than it was for us. Somewhere in my 40s I found that they started way too late for me.

Of course I recall them being attached to Dad's car, but never my car. All the drive ins on our side of Atlanta were closed by then.
