Here you can see the vertical dipole antenna on a fiberglass military surplus mast attached to the ladder of the RV. It takes less than 15 minutes to assemble and erect. Attached to the ladder are two 1.5 inch PVC couplers that the mast goes through, this allows the mast/antenna to be raised from the bottom. The mast comes in 4 foot sections that inter-lock together. Once the first two sections are in place, approx. 8ft high, the Antenna is attached to the mast, the radials are attached to the antenna then it is just a matter of raising the bottom of the mast and adding a new section then repeat for the last section. With the four sections and the adapter piece that transitions the antenna to the mast the radials are 17 feet high. If I want to go higher I just keep adding sections to the bottom, however if you I do want to go higher with it I must use guy wires so the mast does not bend due to the weight and leverage action of the antenna. Set up easy and is done by just one person.

Looks real nice Jay! Tell us more about the antenna. Is it home brew, what bands, etc?

CQCQ,
There is another pretty neat antenna support made by flagpolebuddy.com they have 3 different sizes from 1" to 2" it mounts on the ladder. You just lift it up and tilt it over. I bought one at ham-com this year. I also have a 30ft.alum push-up mast. Now I just need time to use all of it. haha
