I'm a very proud daddy today!!!

Abbi decided she wanted to upgrade and has been studying pretty hard.

She told me yesterday that she was ready, so she and I headed off to the club meeting early to get to the test session. I'm pretty sure she is the youngest general we have in the club (15 yrs)!

She took the test and upgraded to General. She also took the extra (just to do it). She told me she had NO CLUE to most of the questions, but I told her at least she knows what it is about.

I fully expect her to be on the radio using the AG call today.

Kendra now has a case of sister rivalry going on, so maybe next month she will take her upgrade test as well.

I have a family of hams, Wife Kathy, KG4DQQ, son Matt, KF4ZDJ, daughter Dana, KG4GIM. We all used to keep in touch on the local repeaters. But then cell phones came in and the kids moved out and now I'm the only one on the radio anymore.
