I am a proud dad tonight....
My youngest daughter (14) just upgraded to General at tonight's club meeting. She was the only one who tested but had no problem passing.
Kudos to Kendra...:bounce:
Now both girls have the general license...and I have no issue with sharing the HF rig with them!

Now you got to buy her a gift... The Extra Class Study Guide. :)
Tell her congratulations for me will you.
Cool! Most 14-year-olds don't even make it to Lieutenant Colonel!

Congrats to Kendra! Now they need to get on HF and get accounts on eQSL and LOTW for both so they can get QSLs and confirmations.
Good luck to both your daughters and to you too Galen.

Besides me, there are 3 techs in the family. Hmmm, in poker, would three techs beat a pair of generals?
Congrats to the ladies, and we have a forum just for them.

I have not been on the forum for a long time. I received and e-mail that ended up in my junk mail about a week or so about this being the 8 year anniversary of Openroads.net congrats. I also thought that I should let everyone know that SWMbO aka Evelyn my Wife aka "She Who Must be Obeyed" upgraded to general in Sep 2013. Time sure goes by quickly. Her call is w6ome.

congratulations to her. Great accomplishment at any age.
I was an old man of 17 when I passed General test.
Of course that was in 1966.

Well now you got to get her a nice Christmas gift to celebarate.
Say a Kenwood TS-2000 or an Icom IC-7600
