View Full Version : Make a no nole, no nail stocking hanger

Some Christmases ago I was tasked with hanging about 20 or so stockings from our mantle. Not wanting to drive 20 nails into our woodwork I needed an alternate solution.

Here is what I came up with. You'll probably need a hammer and vise to make the sharp 90 deg bend in the handle, but I just used my hands to bend the more rounded bend between the handle and ladle part of the spoon.

They don't damage the mantle, hold a lot of weight, and are infinitely reusable.

Feel free to share on social media, note the ORR.net tag line :radio:

Title should say "No hole, no nail..."

vBulletin will not let you edit titles after you post. Oh well. For what it's worth there is no "nole" involved either. :rabbit:

Being a University of Florida Gator alumnus, I kind of liked the "no nole" part.
