The growing season in western Pennsylvania is almost over.
My garden only produced about one 5 gallon bucket of tomato's this year, out of 48 plants.
Early blight killed all the plants before they even had a chance to produce.
I'm contemplating not even planting a garden next year.

Go ahead and plant but not Tomatoes

Crop rotation is the key.. also plant paring,, For example planting Tomatoes in a bed of Marigolds keeps at least one pest at bay.. Or at least mixing them... Other plants do other pests.

(Books on organic gardening really helpful but not having a sticks and bricks I have not planted a garden in a long time)
