Celebrating 8 years

Along about this time back in 2007, Mike Rimmer, KB4JLE (SK) myself and a few others thought there was a niche for a forum that covered two of our favorite things to do:

RV camping and travel

Amateur Radio

So we came up with the idea of Open Roads Radio .net, or ORR.net as we call it around here. Eight years later we are still here. A lot of things have changed in the world... some things have changed at ORR.net.

But still, we are "The only place on the web where Amateur Radio and RV camping are served up on the same plate" and that has not changed!

We hope you continue to enjoy for years to come.

It's a good place, and I hope it'll still be around in another eight years.

If it is, I guess I hope I'm still around to enjoy it, which at my age seems less probable, but who knows?

I'm most comfortable on this forum rather that others. Everyone here is like a big family, good friendly conversations and knowledgeable participants. Keep it going Wade, job well done.

Just wish we could actually stop by and visit some of you guys in the future.
