Glad another RVer recommended this sight. Always enjoy meeting new hams, exchanging QSL cards and RVing. Putting them all together and heading to the Gulf on Aug. the 20th.

I full time and will be in Panama City Beach, FL until 10-1-16. I am only on 2m/70cm at this point. I scan the local repeaters and simplex frequencies most all the time as well as D-Star REF030C. My HT is an ICOM ID-51A+.

Give me a shout if you are in this area or on D-Star.

We are staying at Rivers Edge Campground in Holt, Fl. I will be using ham sticks running 100 watts, on 10,20,40, and 75 meters. I will also be on DStar, and DMR. Hope we get a chance to chat. I will be using a kenwood 480 Sat and a Kenwood 590-S. And I have a Icom 880 for DStar and a Hytera 785 moble for DMR.

Is that a Ranger? I've had one of those for ages. Back around 1998-99 I would work North Africa at lunch time in the parking lot of my work place. Only using 25 watts and a Radio Shack CB antenna.

A few of the engineers I worked with were pretty impressed!

And :welcome: to the new guy, 2RVnuts. Always good to have another ham in the mix.
