I have just got into RV camping and would like to use the Buddipole deluxe kit as a start for my campsite antenna. The main frequencies I will be focussed on will be 40m, 30m, and 20m. What additions to the deluxe kit should I consider ordering to round out this kit for this purpose? Your sharing of this knowledge will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much.

I use fiberglass poles and get up about 24' with home made dipoles full half wave from 10 to 18 meters (usually field day stuff) there is no reason you could not use the buddy poles. I'm a resonance freak and when I'm not trying make DX contacts I use a screwdriver antenna on a bumper mast setup behind my camper mostly 40 and 80. If your camper has an aluminum roof that's a plus I have ground points on my camper and have been all over the AL siding making sure all of it is connected and grounded to the camper ground system including the radios then drive a 3 foot ground rod and attach the ground to the rear bumper with a standard ground lug.

Here is my screw driver on the back of my camper. The radials actually help and so does the earth ground.

Realy nice setup, thank you so much for your reply. My wife and I enjoy Maine each year when we attend Lobstercon at Thomas Point Beach in Brunswick, Me. A really great ham radio get together.

I'm in the southwestern part of Maine in the foothills of the presidentials about 50 miles west of Portland. I'm the tech for the radio club in Conway NH (W1MWV ARC) We have 5 repeaters two on Mt Washington and 3 in Conway NH on Mt Cranmore VHF/UHF and DMR we got you covered! Actually W1NH (Mt Wash.) should be easy from Thomas point on 2 meters. Off to Nearfest (Deerfield NH) for the big hamfest this weekend with the club trailer and the gang. De N3LYT.
