Has anyone made contact with K5D? They are on most of the bands. The info link is www.kp5.us (http://www.kp5.us)
I barely managed a 20m (14.190 up 5-10kc) and a 17m (18.165 down 5-10kc) contact on SSB. Had to wait for all the big guns to quiet down and then they went by call numbers.
The island is a US government wildlife refuge just west of Puerto Rico and is very seldom allowed visits by hams.

I managed to get them on 30 meters a few days ago. It took a couple of hours though and have not tried yet on the other bands. From listenting though its going to be tough until things calm down a bit -- if they will....
