I saw a reference on RV.Net (Forums). I think it was in someones post but dont remember. -- Put it up on my bio in qrz.com... think I read a suggestion here that folks do that to get the site some visits from other hams.

Well.. I"ve been hanging out on RV.NET for a while and when folks there requested a ham radio forum and it was denided, Radio and company decided to address that issue in the best possible manner.

So I was told By the "Owners" that this forum was being set up, and of course, since the primary staple in my diet is well chewed rags.. here I am :)

It was a Google search for RV Ham Radio Antennas that got me "hooked up". Thanks,

Glad you found us Tom and welcome to the forum. Good folks here with some helpful information. Things have been a bit slow lately but I attribute it to summer beginning. Believe me summer time is here in Florida, 104 degrees here yesterday. Hope it's cooler where you are.

I was searching through RV.net for something (don't remember) and came across someone mentioning ORR. Hopped over here and signed up. So far so good. Love the site and have received help on several questions already.

What could be better...Ham radio and camping together.
