Giving credit where it is due, I got the cobbler recipe here:

Where there is a plethora of good dutch oven recipes!

My Sweet Wife provided me with an unbreakable plastic wide-mouth jar that I think vitamins or some such came in. I printed out the recipe above and taped it to the side of the jar. Then I put all the dry ingredients for one cobbler in the jar (except for the cinnamon that gets sprinkled on top.)

No open sugar or flour bags to spill or draw bugs in the RV. All of these ingredients are pre-measured and ready to go quickly. And of course the jar gets re-used just about every trip!

We have a good friend that does a very similar recipe, but with blackberries. Great idea on the plastic bottle.

There are a lot of recipies where you can basically just change the main ingredient and make no other changes and expect fairly good results

Or you can make "The same change" throughout

For example my wife made a thing with Raspberry Jello, Raspberries and a bunch of other stuff (Very good I might add, it's her "Signature" dish) well one time we had not Raspberries handy but we had strawberries, and strawberry jello. So I made the suggestion... Turns out Strawberries are just a touch sweeter so the results were better.

Likewise several other berries can be swapped, and in a cobbler, several other fruits, only the sugar content may need adjustment

I wish I could post a list of subs that work, but Frankly. it's recipe dependent and I kind of do it "on the fly" when I need to sub.. More an art than a science.

You do know that the recipe for apple pie and Rhubarb pie and Green Tomato pie are... Basically identical.
