Hello everyone. I am Dave, VE6SKI out of the Edmonton area in Alberta. Found the forum and figured I had to check it all out. Currently I haven't an HF rig up and running, (tower and such lying by the shed), so I am relegated to UHF/VHF, Echolink and D-Star.

One question I had is whether the openroadsradio Echolink net is still active and if so, where and when?

Welcome to the group Dave, nice to have you aboard. :welcome:

Has all your snow melted yet? What are you camping in, TT, Fiver or Motor Home? Are you a snow bird?

This site is still active (just a little slow right now for some reason). Glad to have you join.

Really great guys here with lots of help if you need it.

Welcome Aboard Dave!
Haven't been on the EchoLink net in a while. We used to do it on Mondays and Fridays at 1900 EST (if I remember well). The site is pretty slow right now - good WX coming and all that. Hope you get your HF gear and your tower up soon, looks like the bands are coming back.

Yes all the snow is gone, just waiting for the summer to get here. We just purchased a new hybrid TT and are all set to pick it up the last week in June down in Indiana. I received word this week that it should be off the line in the next week or two. As for the snowbirding, no not quite yet, unfortunately started the family later in life and still working at getting them out the door. My 10 year old daughter is asking whether or not she can stay at home until she turns 18. I told her we would have to wait and see. Hi Hi
