The 5er is better than nothing BUT, stay as far away from anything metal as possible if strikes are close ( and don't play radio).

Somebody sent me a short video of a security camera in a park. A guy gets hit by lightning. He comes to, gets up and starts to walk away and gets hit again. He gets up again and walks away. Poor guy probably didn't even know what hit him!

Saw that video. Talk about a guy with bad luck. I wouldn't want to be in the same room with him.

Boy we had some close stikes around us here in Tallahassee yesterday (60mph winds as well). Tall trees all around us in the RV Park, we stayed inside on the rubber tires with the dawgs.
