I didn't hear that line, I sure some wise editor didn't want his phone ringing over that one, but I did hear reporters wondering out loud "why were these people trying to out up an antenna
in the dark?"
Which to me is a valid question.
On safety issues, our radio club here will not allow anyone to work on a tower project
without a hard hat after 2 near misses - A dropped tool bucket missed a guy by inches and a dropped can of WD-40 took the glass out of a guys camper shell window.
If you show up with no hard hat, you will be sent home. (or out for coffee and doughnuts, at least.)
