The Hurricane Watch Net is active (as I write) on 14.325 MHz for H. Sandy.
Sandy is becoming better defined, unusually well for just a Cat 1 storm. The high pressure system over Georgia that gave me cool, very dry weather for camping last weekend, will keep Sandy off the Atlantic coast until it passes Washington, DC, where it will tend to pull the storm inland.
Should make for some interesting radio. HWN has the very best HF net controllers and message handling you'll ever hear.
