Well, it works just fine when mounted to a copper pipe beat 4' into the ground. I added the 9 - 9' foot radials and the set I made that went up to 40m. I could hear s**t. Amazing! SWR pretty flat across all the bands.

Worked N0RU in Colorado on 15m. The only verticals I've ever had is a 2m ringo up at 135' and a set of phased 80m verticals I made. So making a contact on 15m with a screwdriver vertical stuck in the ground is impressive.
