We had a spammer attack today, albeit minor by most of todays standards.
The way this works is they join the forum, activate the link on the returned email and then annoy the membership via Private Message with something about how much Einstein liked Buddhism.
This phoney user has been banned by me and as soon as I figure out how I will ban the IP address from which it came (Mike knows how, he'll show me)
The admins appreciate your patience while we deal with these issues, and they will be dealt with as soon as we are aware of them. Just copy the message in a PM to any of the admins and we'll handle it. Do not even respond to the spammer, as it incourages them.
And don't let some jerk spoil your ORR.net experience.
