Jim W4EWA - While this thread is a little old, can you tell me if you were successful with your haywire capacitor from Cornell Dubilier?? I have a Harbor Freight air compressor that has the same problem and you have already tried all the steps that I was going to try. You would save me a lot of time and effort if you were successful.
