Hope this is right area to post this (moderators move it if necessary).

There is a hamfest in San Antonio TX (actually in the town of Shertz) on Saturday Jan. 12th. I've never been to a ham fest and I'm going to this one from 80 miles away. I'm not affiliated with their club, although I've met some of their members. Here is their link to the particulars
