Keep in mind that the antenna starts right at the output stud of your coupler, so if you mount the coupler inside your camper, do it with the shortest possible wire [inches, not feet] inside to minimze RF inside. You cannot use coax as the feed, but you could skin off the braid and use the center conductor and the center insulation on RG-8 - that stuff is durable.

Best would be to mount the coupler on the outside of your trailer.
