I have noticed capitalism at work here in my home town, with prices going from $1.97 to $2.12.

The quality of the gas is apparently unrelated to the price. Exxon is at $1.97, with BP, QT and Racetrack all about $2.05 - 2.07. But you have a choice here. For the privilege of getting in and out quickly you will pay a little more. To get a good price you will wait in line. When I filled up at 5:15 a.m. most of the 16 pumps were in use at that early hour.

Except at the Marathon, no waiting and gas is $1.99. I did note my truck doesn't like Marathon. The idea I might have to walk 26.2 miles...
