I forgot to load the boat for this long trip to Douglasville, GA !! Maybe it will be dry by the time we arrive early next week.
Left Las Vegas at 7am this morning and am now in Grants, NM. Leave here to morrow for Amarillo or beyond, depends. Not in a big hurry, as dont have to be back until Oct 12th.
Monitor 146.52 in the truck while traveling, with it listed on the back of the RV (Call and Freq) but no takers yet, even though I have seen 3 hams with vhf antennas pass me. Sure aint like the old days....
Will keep you advise of the trip, when I have a chance. Did work a satellite pass last nite while in LV with a new Yaesu FT60 HT I bought at AES that afternoon. Along with my ELK yagi. Receiver could be better, but what can you expect for $190 !!
