Technically live audio feeds of police, fire and EMS dispatches and conservations are a violation of the communications act of 1934.. The very same act that authroizes the FCC and everything that stems from them and that. It is a section refering to privacy of communications.
NOTE there might be an exception but if the audio feed carrys and ad, or an "UPGRADE TO PRO" message (Which by the way it did) then it is illegal..
Though shall not profit is the basic command contained in the law.. IT is ok for YOU to lisetn in and laugh.. It is not allowed for you to tell me what you heard, or to profit from it in any way.
Law is not often invoked. but when it is, it can be costly.
