Most manufactures set the limit at 100 watts for mobile operation. Yes I know those that use 500 but they are lucky. My old Audi's cruse control would drop out as soon as I transmitted on 6 meters at a 100 watts.The newer the vehicle the worse it gets every thing has to be hardened for RF just so many things the public demands in their living room on wheels.
