Actually I had to buy a Kenwood mic (Chinese copy) for one of my TM-271A recently. It was on eBay, brand new from China, and works well. It was very inexensive. Here's an example.

In the eBay listings for these Chinese mikes (search kenwood tm-271a microphone for example and you will find many listings) they call them speakers mike but actually they're regular mikes, not speaker mikes. Chinese vendors sometimes have a hazy understanding of English.

Usually takes four to six weeks to arrive, and the quality is typically pretty good.
